A little toy project for building molecules! Select elements and add them to the molecule one atom at a time. Try to recreate common compounds or just build out really big structures (relatively speaking of course).

  • Carbon (black) can have 4 connections
  • Oxygen (red) can have 2 connections
  • Hydrogen (white) can have 1 connection

Made for the i3 Summer Game Jam with theme 'start small'.
I was aiming to replicate the molecular modeling kits students might use in chemistry class. They were always fun to play with and I wanted to see what could be created with an infinite supply. This was, perhaps unsurprisingly, quite difficult mathematically so I opted to start small and just have a few basic elements with single bonds. Enjoy!

This is really cool! Great application of "Start small"

Awesome concept to learn chemistry! love it. You could add hints, then add effects and show which molecule you just build.

INSANE!! <3
